Frank Gehry designed this building for American center in the mid 1980’s. It is typical Gehry’s geometrically shape.
But They has been closing in long time.
It was re-started as the cinémathèque Française since 2005.

長い間、閉鎖されてはいましたが、2005年にシネマテーク・フランセーズ(国立映画館or図書館)として蘇りました。 建物の前には広大な美しい公園が広がります。夕焼け雲が美し過ぎる日曜日でした。
visited the exposition of Jacques TATI. I love the last part of his films as Playtime, Trafic, Mon Oncle etc. It was dream period tad filled dream and hope. The cars, Architecture, Product design, Fashion… that in the movie are too lovely. I think that he is very stylish and is very witty.
I didn’t know that he made 1 photo story of the VOGUE… A must issue, You can smile.
またまた、ジャック・タチ監督の展示に来ています。僕は彼のPlaytime, Trafic, Mon Oncleなど、後期に作られた作品が好きです。夢と希望に溢れた時代でした。登場する車、建築、電化製品、ファッション、、、うっとりです。
彼は本当にスタイリッシュでユーモアたっぷりの人。女性誌、ヴォーグの為にディレクションしたフォトストーリーがあったなんて知りませんでした。必見です！ やっぱり、ちょっと笑えます。
