Mr Munari is an virtuoso of Italian design world.
The left image is the visual communication design book that has used as a textbook at Italian design school. All monochromatic, but it is sooo interesting! The number of figures he put in this book seems like to me that he challenged to the limit of the 60’s monochromatic printing . You can see his process of design from the structure of the book. When I am troubled about designing, I open this book in a metro on the way home. (Which means that if you see me having this book, I am blocked!) Before I had only an Italian version, but since I got a Japanese version, I enjoy reading it. Thank you teacher Munari! By the way, in the Japanese version, there is almost no figures.

ムナーリ氏は、言わずと知れたイタリアデザイン界の巨匠。
写真左は、イタリアの美術学校の教科書としても使われていた、ビジュアル・コミュニケーション・デザインの本。 全て白黒の図版ですが、これが面白い！ ６０年代の白黒の印刷の限界に挑戦したような、図版の数々。彼のデザインプロセスを垣間見れる構成。 いつも、デザインに悩んだら、この本をメトロで読み ながら家に帰ります。（逆に持っていたら悩んでいる証拠）
イタリア語版なので、読めなかったのですが、最近、日本語版を購入したので、読んでおります。 ムナーリ先生、グラッツェです！
ちなみに日本語版には、図版がほとんど無いです。 オリジナルは、Edition Laterzaから8.50ユーロで発売されています。
