Patching with bill

Patching

Patching a bicycle tire under an autumn sky.

Patching a puncture is a temporary technique in which the tire tube is not replaced, but the hole is sealed with a rubber seal!

There is another patch on the rear wheel that got a puncture today.
I had a light puncture at the end of a ride in the Loire region in June, and the air pressure was gradually dropping, but the divine patch by Mr. Igarashi, an engineer from Japan, saved my life.
His divine patch is said to be reinforced by putting a 1,000 yen bill between the tire and the patch.
By the way, on that day in June, there was indeed no 1,000-yen bill(=8€), so it was reinforced with a page from a “French travel guide” that was in his bag.
It is a good memory.

But if I had a 1,000 yen bill, I might exchange tubes?
