QWERTY vs AZERTY

本日から新スタッフのＣさん登場。　アジア・マーケティングを専門とするビジネス・スクールからやって来た。　よって日本語も北京語も上手。将来は映画監督になりたいという不思議な青年。

QWERTY、AZERTY　はキーボードの種類です。マルチ・ランゲージの方々は其々、キーボードの趣味があるらしく、QWERTY派とAZERTY派に分かれます。　僕は英語版のQWERTY派。フランス語はAZERTYと言って、フランス語のアクセント記号があり、若干キーの配列が違う。　若干と言っても！　Zの位置にQがあるの。これって、最高便利なCtrl-Z(１ステップ前へ戻る)が、Ctrl-Q(ソフト終了)になるのです。　私の入力ロケールはAlt+Shiftで　日本語から仏語へ簡単に切り替えができるので、　ZとQの位置は頻繁にチェンジする。。。　よって、これまで何度も大事な大事なデータをセーブもせずに、Ctrl-Qで強制終了してしまうのでした。。。(takeo)

Today was the first day of C our newest staff member. Because he’s from a business school specialized in Asia marketing, his Japanese and Chinese are very good.(English too) A strange young man who wants to be a movie director in the future.

QWERTY and AZERTY are types of keyboards. People with Multilanguage skills are often interested in keyboard and are divided in the QWERTY group and the AZERTY group. I’m in the QWERTY group which is the English version. The AZERTY is for French and have the different accents on it and only places of few letters are different. But! One of the few is the Q who is at the place of the Z, which means that the most handy shortcut Ctrl-Z(go back to 1 step) becomes Crtl-Q(end of program). And because I can switch easily from French to Japanese by pressing Alt+Shift, the place of Z and Q also switch. That is why I lost precious data without saving them a lot of times… (takeo)
