6 years ago, when I was making a video for Wella company, I walked my legs off in Paris, and was looking for such a dress. Her dress was exhibited at the front of a shop. It was layered multiple layers and has transparent feeling. So it was my memory cloth ! I asked to borrow it and finished a film called ‘Tailes of folk‘ in 2003.
Today, I visited to a fashion trade show ‘LE SHOWROOM‘ and I met clothes that remained in the memory again. An artist Aurore THIBOUT, She is wonderful artist and keeps creating our new memory.
白いドレス、森の妖精が身につけるかのような、白くシンプルで繊細、だが人々に強い印象を記憶に残すようなドレス。
６年前、Wella社のビデオ制作の為、僕は足を棒にしてパリを歩き、そのようなドレスを捜していた(予算がなかったのね)。彼女のドレスは、あるお店に展示をされていました。幾つ重にも布を重ねた細かい繊細さ、透明感を持つドレスでした。そう！、まさしく僕の記憶に残る妖精のドレス。彼女にレンタルを依頼して完成したのが、’Tailes of folk‘という作品、 2003年の今頃でした。
今日、ファッショントレードショー(展示会)のLE SHOWROOMを訪れ偶然にも彼女の作品に再会する事ができた。アーティスト Aurore THIBOUT、彼女はまた私たちの新しい記憶を創り続けているかのようだ。
