会社が入っているアパートの一室が工事中。 で、玄関先に、古いフローリングが積み上げられています。その横に新たに貼られるであろう、床材が箱に入っている。
この古い床材は、エッジが斜めにカットされていて、組むとギザギザになる、フランスでは典型的な床材。 状態はそれ程悪くないし、もったいない限り。 そして新しい床材は味もそっけもない、ピカピカなデザイン！
古き良き時代のフランス～ さよなら～～～。
ピヴォの玄関も相当に古い木の床です。 元からあったものではなく、アトリエ中に点在していたフローリングを一枚一枚剥がして、掃除をしてから、玄関に集めました。 見た目は悪いですが、気に入っています。(takeo)
One of the apartment in our building is under construction now.
So, there is a pile of old flooring front of the entrance. Besides of that, there is a box filled with new planks that is going to be used for new floor.
The edge of this old flooring is diagonally cut, and the indent appears when the floor is planked with this material.
It is a typical flooring in France.
Since the condition is not so bad, it is pity to throw them away!

I used quite old planks for the entrance of my office as well. I teared off the planks which were studded in this atelier when we moved to here, and after cleaning up all this, I planked the entrance with them.
It does not look so good, but I like it!

ご自分で貼られていましたね。あの部屋けっこうすきでした。スキマを埋めたりしてましたね、あとで。
そうね、あの部屋よかったね～。 文京区はいね。
ピヴォの床はもっと汚いけどね。 どうせ、コンピュータとか機材で埋め尽くされるから、ボコボコしてる方がかっこいいかな～とも思ってました。
