PERMANENT ENERGY | 永恒的活力
“PERMANENT ENERGY” is my animation film for the Olympic game in Beijing 2008. About 60 artists produced with sports and the body as the theme. From November this year, the Shanghai contemporary art museum will start exhibition, and seven museum places will round. (The following refer to the schedule)
My theme is uniting of Oriental medicine, Buddhism philosophy, and Sports science of the West. It was my longtime, essential theme.
The film received high acclaim from the committee. And, after it exhibited, It will assess by the auction “Christie’s“.
Original existence of digital media like us is very obscurity. We deicded print only 5 DVD disks and My signature becomes proof as the original.
永恒的活力
“PERMANENT ENERGY”は、明年の北京オリンピックの一環で制作した４分の映像作品。
約60人のアーティストが、スポーツや肉体をテーマに制作をしました。
本年11月から、上海コンテンポラリー・アート・ミュージアムをはじめ、７箇所の美術館を巡回展示されます。(スケジュールは下記参照)
東洋的医学や仏教的哲学と、西洋の運動科学を融合させるようなテーマで、昔から温めていた個人的な作品です。
委員会からも高い評価を得、巡回後、美術品競売のクリスティーズにて、査定され、うまく行けば、どこぞの美術館やギャラリーからお買い上げ！という事になりました。
私のようなデジタル・メディアの作品は、オリジナルの存在が曖昧ですが、今回は、５枚限定のDVD作品として、私のサインがオリジナルとしての証になります。
