I started to design a web page that ordered 1 month ago from a fashion designer. Many photographs and images from him were perfect. So I was looking for a “frame” for put inside a beautiful photo.
I choose a photograph taken when researcher in the United States enters Africa for the first time. Many animals, lifestyle, people are recorded by 5x7inch big film.
The dirt and old film format besides the mysterious photograph are also beautiful.
But my client think and said “Is it lacks the modernity ?”… What shall I do now ?!
もう１ヶ月も前に頼まれていた、あるデザイナーのホームページのデザインを始める。 先方から受け取った写真やイメージがもう、それだけで素晴らしいので、それを入れるフレーム（額）を探す。
今回使ったのは、その昔、アメリカ人が初めてアフリカに探検に行った折の、記録写真のフレームです。 ５ｘ７インチの大判のフィルムで何枚も、見たこともない動物や、生活風景、そして人々を記録したもの。 その写真もさることながら、当時のカメラやフィルムの汚れかたがとても気に入っています。 どこでどうやって入手したかは秘密です。
ただ、デザイナーからは、「モダンさに欠けるかもね」という手厳しい返事を受け取った。 さて、どうしよう。
