Valeur de la profession
Daniel effectuait des recherches sur la maladie familiale à l’université.
Lorsqu’il a visualisé les résultats de ses recherches, il a utilisé l’infographie 3D et est tombé amoureux de la 3D…
Il a arrêté ses recherches … a étudié la 3D … et est venu à Paris.
Et finalement, nous nous sommes rencontrés à Pivot.
Il m’a beaucoup aidé.
Nous sommes devenus de bons amis !
Après 1 an de séjour à Paris, il a décidé de revenir à Labo. Et il a trouvé un nouveau poste à Vancouver.
Aujourd’hui, lui et ses parents sont venus me saluer et me dire au revoir.
Au cours de cette année, je lui ai recommandé d’arrêter la 3D et de retourner au laboratoire. Parce que vos recherches ont plus de valeur que notre travail.
Mais il a réfléchi et m’a dit : “Votre travail et mes recherches ont la même valeur…”. Je me souviens volontiers de ce mot.
En bref, je pense que la valeur peut varier en fonction de la direction que nous prenons. La catégorie professionnelle n’est pas tout.
Pour moi, son avenir est le plaisir.
Value of occupation
Daniel was researching the family disease at the university.
When he did visualisation of his research results, he used 3D computer graphics and fell in love to 3D…
He stopped researching …studied 3D … and came Paris.
And finally we met in pivot.
He helped me a lot.
We are good friend !
After 1 year of stay in Paris, He decided to back to Labo. And he found new post in Vancouver.
Today He and his parents came to say hello & good bye.
In this 1 year, I have recommended him to stop to 3D and return to the laboratory. Because Your research has more value than our job.
But he think and said me ‘Your job and my research has same value…’ I gladly remember this word.
In short, I think the value is changeable to depending on our aimed directionality. The occupational category is not all.
For me, his future is the enjoyment.
職業の価値について
僕の隣にいるダニエル君は、ある遺伝病の研究をカナダの大学で続けていたが、研究結果の映像化などにコンピュータグラフィックスを使ったのがきっかけで、CGのとりことなり、研究を止め、CGの学校に通い、パリで１年間の放浪生活を続けてきた。
ピヴォでも、僕の本当に大変な時に仕事を助けてくれたり、公私共におつきあいがあった。
この写真では少し猫背ではあるが、本当にナイスガイを絵に描いた爽やかな青年である。
このほど、バンクーバーの研究室にポストが決まり、帰国する事になり、挨拶に来てくれた。(ご両親も一緒に～)
「遺伝病の研究はとても意義のある仕事なので、CGは辞めて、研究室を探した方がいい」と、１年間薦めてきた。
そんな彼から「Takeoの仕事と、僕の研究とは同じ価値があるんだ」と言われたのを今でも嬉しく憶えている。
要は職種ではなく、目指している方向性次第で、その価値は変動するように思う。
これからが楽しみですねダニエルっ！
